Finished up Harry Potter & The Sorceror's Stone last night, and now I'm halfways through Chamber of Secrets. I wish I had the opportunity to read these books as a child, what might have been tempts me. I want a big poster of Snape to hang on my wall.

Work was full of profoundly creepy, irritating people today. Not the least of which was this person named Hillary. Officious, bossy, full of self satisfaction. She started re-arranging my cookbook display table while I was working on it, and I had to hold my claws in. I think the look in my eyes was murder though. Don't. Touch. My. Table. Thank you.

At least I have some good coworkers. That helps some.

Very lovely full moon in the sky tonight, hanging bright. It is so nice outside. I might leave the windows open.

Is that Hilary who works at the warehouse?

The one and the same. Vexing woman, she is.

Weird. She's never left much of an impression on me. I guess maybe she is on her best behavior because she used to work at our store.

Unless you mean annoying because the warehouse always sends such crappy books. :)

Perhaps. I just found her rather irritating and the kind of person who just starts messing with someone else's things without even a hello. Grr. I can't stand that, even if they mean to be helpful.

Yes, that would definetly annoy me if she did it around me.

so glad someone is as Snape-obsessed as myself.
Really isn't doing wonders with my patience at the office though, which seems like a common affliction.

hee. this is the first time in years that something has caught in my head this way, and it's rather amusing. now if I could just find some good Snape fanfic, I'll be happy.

My patience disappears rapidly these days, I wonder if it's a side effect of retail or the world.

While there's a lot of crap there, there are several kickass Snape pieces on fanfiction.net.

Snape says, "Who needs patience?"

I've been eyeing that enormous mound of files. Do you recommend any in paticular?

Let's see --

Awful title aside, this is filled with angsty goodness -- http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=441851 -- although it has a bitch of a cliffhanger and the writing isn't great (it's alright though)

There's also two by someone going as Rilar Cray (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=435940 and http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=444191) that are very good, and an unfinished one by Allosia Hemrand (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=470628) that's going somewhere.

These are all drama with new DaDA teachers, but for Mary Sue's they're good. Haven't touched the slash stuff yet, but there's a ton of it.

Some of the bad stuff is a riot

Okay first, glad you're as twisted as me!

Second, just started it, seems really well done.

Twisted Snape-loving party of two, right this way. I think I might be giggling from all of this.

Glad you like that one. The line about the unloved boy wanting attention gets me.

Vita Labyrinthae Similis is quite interesting...

Wow, that's, just, oh.

Not a cookie cutter moment that.

Indeed. I spent half of a morning laying on the bed sorting out my thoughts after reading that one.

Yeah. It's exceptionally well done and pretty revolting, yet the beginning is hysterical, parts of it are sweet and it rings true in its way. Wowzers.

Always a good sign when something can make you double up in hysterical laughter. I can picture Snape trying not to scream so well.
