850 posts, a few thousand comments. Interesting. I never would have thought I would commit to so much here. I started reading livejournal last fall, because I was following the webpage of this lovely girl. After a couple months of reading, I decided to get my own space.
My first day. Does it get better? Time will be the judge of that I suppose.
Livejournal has been good to me. It's given me a place to write more, and introduced me to a number of fascinating people. My life is infinitely richer for knowing a real Texas Lady, who has become an incredible friend. Miss Ang has reintroduced me to the wonderful world of fanfic. I've discovered the 21st century's great novel, The Sinatraist by Doctor Gogol, Knight of the New Russian Empire. I hope I get to teach him how to play mah-johngg sometime. A Czech girl named Joi makes me want to live in New York and have a couple more cats. And I know this Emperess in the making who rocks my world with her words.
The sky is bright blue this morning. Yesterday I watched the cold front push the clouds in this perfect straight line across the sky. The sunsets have been gorgeous this week, a dozens shades of purple tinting the concrete of the highway rose. I steal out the back of the store so I can admire the colors.
I forgot last night to ask Clock and Kevin if I would live to see another issue of State of unBeing. Damn.
Back to finishing up my Christmas cards. I did several in Metro last night while Clock studied. If they smell like coffee, that's why.
