Woken early in the dark hours, by the cries of many crows outside. The sunrise was glorious, clouds of color and light blazing high overhead. I like to drive or walk on earloy Sunday mornings while the rest of the world sleeps. Being alone in all this space is good.

Pleasant Mass, pleasant morning. Visited my mother, played with Lyric in the yard, drowsed with a cat in my lap. My sister was off visiting her boyfriend in jail. The neighbours have a llittle girl, who reminds my mother of me.
