white tiger

Spending another night at my mother's house. I feel remarkably better already. The cure of kitchen soup, tea and cats works well.

I took a shower last night in a bathroom I haven't used since I was 19 years old. The slick feel of genuine porcelain underfoot, the narrowness, the window ledge high up, the way the water drains... I had forgotten and missed all of this.

Tonight it will probably freeze. Maybe we can have a fire. I can curl up with my stuffed tiger and drink tea. My tiger needs a name. Right now I'm torn between Kosh and Dmitri. Mom gave him to me yesterday.

:-) My therapist says when you hang out with your mom, you get to vanquish your super-ego, which is super-comforting from time to time. :-)

I should remember what the super-ego is, but I forget some things. ;)

Hanging out with my mom sometimes is much nicer these days.

My goldfish is named Dmitri.

I won him at a carnival in July. Everybody said, "Carnival goldfish die!" True, I've had a track record of dead goldfish. Frank came from a carnival (why I got all the equipment) and lived 7 days. Trot and Cap'n Bill came from Wal-Mart and lived in the same bowl and lived a month. Cameron was also a Wal-Mart fish who I accidently killed by putting him into shock.

Dmitri's still alive. Several months and running. Hurrah for fish.

Name the tiger Dmitri.

I like the stories of magic fish

Dmitri is such a fine name. I think I shall.

Goldfish are neat. I kinda miss fish. Perhaps you have a lucky fish in your bowl.
