Why on a Sunday night? Why are they listening to such crappy music at such a volume and whooping like drunk frat boys? Because they probably were frat boys in college and can't get out of that mentality. I almost hope they're getting high so the cops can smell it when they drop by. It's petty of me, but I want to sleep.

I don't think it's petty. I mean, most people have to get up and work on Monday morning. They should be more considerate.

The apartment management just sent us all nice little memos reminding everyone to be more considerate of your neighbors in regards to music and banging around. Sigh. It's silly. But I don't feel shy about calling the police and making noise complaints.

i don't think it's petty either...

considering most days i wake up and fall off to the monotonous pounding of tejano basslines from three adjoining apartments, i know full well the fantasies inconsiderate neighbors spawn...

i think i'd rather see apartment complexes built correctly than to have people with any sort of artistic appreciation get hounded into quiet conformity...we have the technology, there's no reason for everyone to hear every detail of each others lives when living in such close quarters...

It would be nice if these places were built a bit more sturdy and soundproof... the fact that a six year old above me can wake me from sound sleep just running around the house is ridiculous.
