watching MTV for breakfast

I'm on the mike like a facist...
Listening to what sounds like a Beastie Boys inspired band that's swinging and sorta cute. I like these angry boys with bruised eyes.

This morning I made chocolate pie. I have venison sausages made with cheese and jalapeno slowly cooking on a bed of rice and black beans. I'm feeding one of my new coworkers, Noah. He's Australian, and has quite good stories. Not to mention a nifty tattoo of a blue frog.

Shirley Manson is sexy. This video is weird.

I find this "Youth of the Nation" strangely disturbing and sad. The video even more so. Choices made, things slipped out of reach. The way we were, too young. God, I feel so old today. Older than this body and heart.

sounds like a nice morning. This is your last day of non-weekend spring break

Indeed. Always, for the last time, as that song goes.

I like that "Youth of the Nation" song, and the video too. Yes, I do.

I keep hearing it in the car, driving on the highway, and for one visceral moment I'm sixteen again. Very very odd.

As it should be. Sometimes even the radio can speak the truth.

it's so nice to be able to feel young again, or to be invaded by such a feeling when you need to be. I experienced a bit of that last night. I'd forgotten all about it. sometimes it's too easy to forget.
