I should learn never to argue with Gene about the meaning of a word, especially when I'm drunk and especially when my second grade teacher told me the wrong thing. Ack. Thank you all, for proving Gene right and earning me much well deserved mockery.

I had much fun last night, just sitting here drinking and talking. We got drunk and called Hana to ask her how to say hiccup in Czech so Gene could tease me yet more. I'm sure I'll hear from her next week.

There are a dozen empty beer bottles in here and on the porch. Melynda is going to kill me when she gets up.
