call me Edith today
It's something, a name. I try to use people's name often, and it's something that was a point of confrontation in my last relationship. I think the only person who uses my name is Melynda. Otherwise, I hear it infrequently. Much as I ramble about changing it, it would be nice to hear.
Reading The House of Mirth once again. Though I am nothing like Lily Bart, it's the novel that resonates most in my heart. Every time I read it, a part of me is hoping that something different will happen this time, that fate and chance won't take away what little she has. It's a beautiful book.
Fridays in Metro are like Tuesday afternoons in the summer season. No one you want to see, deathly dull. I should have gone swimming, because I've forgotten to do most of what I intended already
