"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster kid."
I turned on the radio, and at the end of the Garbage song, I heard good old Han Solo. Hah. I laughed so hard I almost wrecked the car out on 360, curving through hills.
Oh, it was cool. Pretty damn cool. Even with the absolutely awful bits. Much more than I hoped for, and now I really want to see the next one. Clone wars! Jango Fett! Little Boba! Yoda! Okay, the acting was ridiculous at times, and they need better script writers. For the love of all that is holy! They need decent lines! But yeah, it was neat.
I'm so glad I went, even though I wasn't nearly as excited as Gene or Melynda. We waited for an hour and a half inside the theater, and I was reproached many a time for being more interested in the previews (which sucked) than the actual movie. But it was good, good, good in a goofy, fun way.
