Kohout's I am Snowing and White Book
Klima's Love & Garbage and Lovers For a Day
Iva Perkarkova's The World is Round
Martin Simecka's The Year of the Frog
There were even more, but the ladders were rickety and my arms were already full. Delight.
Happy birthday to me. Though I don't think I could ever really get old, as my face still breaks out like I'm fifteen, especially today. I feel a bit like a leper.

Date: 2002-05-27 08:39 pm (UTC)I'm so bummed I didn't get to meet you. This weekend has been NON STOP for me.
But it looks like you had fun in NYC and MAY be back again in the near future, I'm hoping?
BTW, The Hangwoman by Kohout is one of the best books ever written, I think!

Date: 2002-05-28 08:37 pm (UTC)I really must come back to NYC, if only to meet you and your cats! What a wonderful city it is. I think if I were to settle down anywhere in America, it would be there.
I have not read the Hangwoman, I shall have to dig it up.
