Gene is playing Grand Theft Auto III with much glee. He took out a fair number of police on the last time round. Now he's driving a Mafia car and running folks down. Very funny. We accidentally left our chinese food in the restaraunt. Sat in Metro all afternoon and the music was good, good. The Pulp Fiction soundtrack, a live Cure album, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones.

More exciting things later.

Metro's atmosphere is great. Some of the best in town I think.
There coffee is kinda gross though.
It's really strong. Sometimes it's alright. But I have to be in the right mood for it.
But I don't feel that way about the actual place, which kindof sucks.
If thier coffee was better I'd probably be in there all the freakin time.

I like that coffee. What have you been drinking? I'm a big fan of the vanilla hazelnut on ice. Ahh, sweet dark oblivion.

Well, you see, I've spent the better part of my formative years there. Ten years of sitting up there, watching the traffice on Guadalupe, watching the college kids and the teenagers and the assorted weird ones. I'm rather fond of it.

As am I.
But I'm a straight up Joe kinda guy.
Little cream, little sweet and low.
And thier regular coffee has definately got a bite to it.
Too much caffiene makes me mean and cranky.
I find that the coffee there gets me to that point alot faster, thats all.

I think I've developed an obscenely high tolerance for caffiene. I drink Metro coffee almost every day, and I never feel too much from it unless I'm drinking on an empty stomach.

(Never drink two Hammerheads on an empty stomach, as a good friend of mine once learned)
