Finished Klima's No Saints or Angels this evening. For a book that deals so much in death and suffering, it is oddly not sad. At least not to me. I read through Gene's notes, and took a few of my own. Mostly because they struck, more than any desire to write an academic paper.

I think I'll go to Houston this weekend.

Someone on the jacket blurb compares it to Camus but I really think it's much more human and more real than Camus ever was. It's quite a good book. Go snag yourself a copy.
