I can hear the baby next door crying. Can't imagine what it must be like up close.

Thankfully my queitly insane astronomy teacher did not ramble about the environment today, and stuck to reviewing for Monday's exam. No math on this one. Saints be praised.

Restless, restless, oh I am. Don't know what to do with myself.

Doesnt UT offer self-paced Astronomy 301 anymore? I took that back in my second to last semester at UT. No math whatsoever. It was a book of 20 chapters. For each chapter you went to take a test up in RLM on a little Mac SE/30 running a thing called "Johnny Test". The test was 6 questions, multiple choice. You had to get four right to pass. You could take the tests whenever you wanted to during the semester. At the end of the semester, if you passed 19-20 tests, you got an A, 16-18 a B, etc. You also had to do a few simple observational experiments, but hey were just completion. Dont complete all your experiments, lose a letter grade.

Thats it. Incredibly easy. I did all the experments and tests in the last few weeks of the semester and got an A while all my friends who took the "real" class were struggling with all the nasty math.

Of course, this was back in 1993...

Unfortunately they are not offering the one I need this summer, just basic. I borked the second one pretty well last fall and sort of ignored that fact that I needed it until rather late... c'est la vie I suppose.

I did take a self paced physical anthropology class, and that was nice. The self paced creative writing course is pretty good as well.
