how you sparkle

The sun appeared, yet it kept raining. It was nice to see, even so. Though it did make the humidity unbearable.
Took my last test, raced down to the university and back for the necessary paperwork to handle the transfer of my grades. I only had to circle the blocks behind the Co-op three times before I found a spot. Mailed a letter and a photograph to my grandmother.
Stopped by Fry's to pick up the tiny piece of plastic that will let me plug my laptop in overseas. It's nice and thoughtful that my power adapter is built to handle the European current as well. I realized that this is the first computer I've bought for myself with my own money. It's replaced to a large extent the stuffed animals, Breyer horses, Legos and GI Joes I used to have. Not quite cuddly, but I still like to hug it to my chest and admire it's silvery case.
To reward myself and my computer, I bought WarCraft III. Now that I'm done with college, I think I can afford to play video games with fiendish obsession. I want to be good again.

But Legos? Cool! It has been forever since I messed with Legos. I miss the odd, dadaist creativity they can inspire.
And multi-color spaceships rock!
