The net cafe is playing Nirvana Unplugged, and I wish it would not make me cry. The Czechs must think I am insane, since I am crying so often.

Crying in Paris...I understand

When I was in Paris, France one day, several years ago, I wandered around forever - hungry and anxious. I couldn't find the American Express cash machine. Finally, I found it. Dropped myself at a nearby café for a glass of wine and a sandwich. It was really expensive. But I was hungry, so I guess it was worth it. Suddenly out of nowhere, a song by REM drifted through the cafe: "Shiny Happy People" I started to cry and everyone stared at me. I felt so alone, but I also didn't care. That song reminded me of someone and of an old workplace. Oh, the Parisians probably thought I was goofy, but hey, it was a long day.
Be good to yourself. Bad days only last for one day and sometimes they disappear in a few hours. You are in a different situation and you are stressed. Be easy on yourself, even though that can be difficult.
Peace,
