The net cafe is playing Nirvana Unplugged, and I wish it would not make me cry. The Czechs must think I am insane, since I am crying so often.

When I was in Paris, France one day, several years ago, I wandered around forever - hungry and anxious. I couldn't find the American Express cash machine. Finally, I found it. Dropped myself at a nearby café for a glass of wine and a sandwich. It was really expensive. But I was hungry, so I guess it was worth it. Suddenly out of nowhere, a song by REM drifted through the cafe: "Shiny Happy People" I started to cry and everyone stared at me. I felt so alone, but I also didn't care. That song reminded me of someone and of an old workplace. Oh, the Parisians probably thought I was goofy, but hey, it was a long day.
Be good to yourself. Bad days only last for one day and sometimes they disappear in a few hours. You are in a different situation and you are stressed. Be easy on yourself, even though that can be difficult.

Crying in Paris...I understand
Be good to yourself. Bad days only last for one day and sometimes they disappear in a few hours. You are in a different situation and you are stressed. Be easy on yourself, even though that can be difficult.
