"Cože?" myslel si zlý Princ Drson, když uviděl žábu s korunkou. "Myslím že, je to smutná žába. Ona pláče."

"Dobrý den," řikal Drson. "Jmenuju se Princ Drson. Jak se jmenuješ?"
"Dobrý den, princi. Jmenuju se Šárka."

Drson si myslel, "Jestli žabu poslibim, ona bude krásná, bohatá princezna. Je to krásné stěští!"

"Proč pláčeš?" zeptal se Drson.
"Protože jsem ošklivá žába, a nikdo nechce mi políbit."
"Smím tě políbit, Šárko?"
"Samozřejme, polib mne!" řekla Šárka.

"Mám takovou radost! Ty jsi táké žabák!" řikala Šárka.
Drson byl smutný, a řikal, "Sakra! To je něstěští!"

so, at music camp, there was this german guy, and he told this joke that was actually just as funny in english as it was in german. and nobody understood the german. i think it had to do with facial expressions and body language.

Foreign humor is fascinating. It's hard to make a joke that's geniunely funny in lots of different cultures.

"My dog has no nose" (http://www.shiny.ndo.co.uk/noframes/dgeng.shtml) is pretty universal but it's also really old and corny.

Já myslím, že je moc směsně, že internetové site www.slovnik.cz přeloží slovo "zakletý" ve slovo "elf-struck". Myslím taky, že určitě Melynda je "zakletá". Sakra. Já nechci bývat žabákem.

Apparantly žába can also mean "slut".
