oddly, the sun is still shining

I think the tropical storm in the Gulf is sending up advance scouts. The sky is growing gray, and the wind is rising. Things are flying around the porch, and something glass broke nearby. It reminds me a bit of tornado weather, but not quite.

Interestingly enough, a tropical thing (dunno if it was a depression or somehting else) passed through here a day or so ago. Just dumped some rain so I could get wet on my way back to the apt from class. Its very entertaining getting wet the same time two days in a row and not learning the second time to bring an umbrella.
