"To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due."
-The Sandman

Indeed. I decided to read some Sandman last night, and so many things came back to me. It's such brilliant stuff.

As they should be.
How can you not love Delirium? Her story might be the most tragic of the Endless.
I wanted to be the dream king.

death having to live one day every 100 years is always a tearjerker.

though i've always hoped that there would be a short series on delirium...possibly even telling the tale of how she changed from delight.

gaiman is *amazing*

He rocks my world. American Gods picked up the Hugo recently as best book of the year, and I was so pleased.

I've yearned for the backstory for Delight/Delirium forever. I'm tempted to write fan mail begging for it. ;)

He seems quite friendly about his mail, so I'm sorely tempted. Perhaps I will do that this week.

I never write fan mail either. The only exception being the random postcards I mailed to WS Burroughs when I was a teenager. *sigh* I hope he liked them.
