So much studying to do. My astronomy professor prefaced his lecture with "I hope you all remember your trigonometry..." what? I never even took that much math. Bah. how unpleasant. I'm hoping I do okay on the test Friday. I need to study for my Czech quiz too. Much to do.

My day has felt unbearably long. This headache won't go away. But I did get an email from a friend of mine who is currently studying in Prague. She is already homesick and threatening to buy a sundress and a cowboy hat when she gets back this summer. This from a girl who cultivates her paleness and makes her own clothes. Heh. It would be funnier if you knew her. We watched A report on the party and the guests in my Prague class today. It's a big creepy allegory for Stalinist Communism, with some strange images. Weird and scary but interesting.

I just want to take a shower and curl up in bed.

Trig is the devil. Trig eats babies! Trig is the anti-Christ! Jack T. Chick says that Trig will burn int he lake of fire for all eternity!

(Trigonometry is, indeed, evil. What all do you need to know? I've gotten to bending my mind around sines, cosines and tangents, without actually knowing what a sine actually is. I've never SEEN a sine...)

Um, it is some arcane ritual equation for summoning up a demon to find the distance between stars. I'm going to ignore until my math major friend can show me how to make this fancy calculator she loaned me do it. Heh. Indeed. I've only now remembered how to do enough math to calculate the force of gravity between planets.

Answering to the pope, Eating babies, and now you're going around summoning the trig demon Sine to learn about Satan's evil plans in the Stars, like Astrology (which is an evil, Satanic plot, much like Eccumenicalism [sp?] and the Masons.)! Burn in hell, heathen! ;-)
