Went to Jack in the Box, something I don't think I've ever done. It's close though, and you're safe with a soda and french fries. I learned Gene has bizarre, latent guilt about taking his drink out of fast food joints. (Ah the wonderful things our parents do to us.) I really shouldn't laugh, all things considered, but it's horribly funny and he doesn't seem to mind. I don't think I've eaten inside a fast food place since we drove to Killeen for his laptop.

I have a long scratch down my right shoulder, and ever since Gene made a smart-ass comment about ants, my skin has been crawling.
