I'd like to be back in Europe

Hanging out at the apartment with Melynda, watching The Snapper. Very funny, very Irish. Lots of bad earrings. I'm going to take to calling people "thick." The scene where Sharon's singing "Papa Don't Preach" and rubbing her pregnant belly is horribly amusing.

I want to go to pastry chef school. However, that's another one of those things that will have wait until I have a sizable chunk of cash fall into my lap. Sigh.

"The Snapper" is brilliant. I saw it with my dad. It had much the same effect on me. Thick is a great term though- conveys so much that near-synonyms don't.

I'd believe that. Mine is too, but not in such a way. I did watch The Crying Game with my parents, but they got so depressed by the IRA business that they went to bed before any of the more revealing parts.
