Played cards, drank coffee, smoked too many cigarettes, talked politics with Rock Star Nathan, and listened to insane stories from Jim and Elisa and others. Gene corrects my grammar and my sentence construction all the time now. For some reason, this amuses me to no end.
Called the police on my cell phone while driving down to report this insane Camry. Right after I hung up I saw a cop tearing down the road in pursuit, and I felt a stir of evil joy. Eat it, jackass.
I feel better after spending time with my friends, and why this should come as a surprise is still a mystery to me. But I drove homewards singing U2's "Ultraviolet" with the windows rolled down, and it felt alright.
