Of all trees, I like the pecan tree best I think.
It's shades of grey in the sky, and smells like water. Walking outside is a quiet joy.

Oh, we have the most wonderful pecan trees in Camp Verde...the property owners invite locals to lounge among them, and when in season to come and get bags of nuts for free.

Mm. They're nice trees to climb in, and the pecans make it all the better. I'm overcome with a sudden craving for pecans now. Candied and covered in chile powder.
