happiness in simple things

Curled up on the end of the couch, wrapped in my cloak, re-reading Memento Mori, watching Sam play video games, with Melynda reading out on the porch, under a varied grey sky with a hint of chill... yes, this is a moment I could keep living in for a time. The only thing that could make it better would be a glass of iced tea, and a charming person to ruffle my hair.

You know, in the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog this year, for $7500 you can have action figures made of yourself. They give you two, so you can keep one in mint condition. :P
