(no subject)

I am feeling exceptionally lazy today. Not much accomplished, in terms of cleaning or anything really. I've read the job ads, I've sighed, and I've gone back to my book. I think I'm going to soak my cold feet in the tub for an hour or so, and then clean up the living room a little more.

Sometimes, I take amazing photographs. Only sometimes, when I don't mean to do so. But I have a kick ass photo of the Tower, and Metro now. Someone else took a photo of me that made my cry this morning, because I look so happy. I've never really seen that, you know.

i brought you some chocolate, but then there was a big mix-up. would you like a stunningly tacky refridgerator magnet or keychain? or perhaps some regional goskomstat publications?

Oo neato. I like tacky keychains. I used to have quite a few of them from all over the place. I would so like to hear about your trip too.

i'll probably tell livejournal some trip stories, at some point, long after they've become entirely different in my head. i'm in adjustment phase now, so it's hard to turn what happened into nice little things to write down in black and white. talking about them, on the other hand, is entirely possible. maybe you understand.

and hmm well... i think i'll have some extra time on thursday and friday of this week... and possibly on monday, too. things are weird right now, because, on nov. 2., i am supposed to be presenting a paper that is as yet unwritten. we have a disgustingly huge number of co-authors but still haven't managed to get done. blee.

Thursday and Friday are good days. I'm unemployed again, so I'll beg borrow or steal my way down to campus. Let me know when you can escape from the specter of the unwritten paper.
