All in all, a lovely evening. Went out for Indian food at my favorite restaraunt with Thomas, and to Metro for coffee, and back to the apartment for weird conversations. There's leftover chicken kabuli in the fridge, and I got to hold hands. It was grand.

It is very near campus, down Guadalupe between 17th and 16th. The Clay Pit. It's not expensive, and it's very lovely inside. They're very nice about making it how hot you like it, and the food is scrumptious. I've never had anything I didn't like there.

just out of curiosity, what's your spice level?

i have had a lot of mediocre indian since i came back to austin this year. perhaps i should see about the clay pit.

I like food that makes my eyes water. The nice thing about the Clay Pit is that they will ask you how spicy you want it, and they're willing to up the heat to whatever you prefer.

In my opinion, it's the best Indian place in town. They have a happy hour form 4-6 or 5-7, I forget which. Half price appetizers. They make yummy samosas, and quite possibly the best calimari I've ever eaten.

a friend's sister is coming to town on friday and i've said i wanted to meet her. how about we make it a completely surreal evening and consider meeting them there for dinner?
by the way, i can give you a ride home on friday, if that would be helpful. i'll even update my vehicle registration.
