don't mind me

Would you just be quiet, infernal man? If you didn't want everything, we wouldn't have nearly this much trouble, now would we?

"A girlfriend may leave me, but chocolate never will."
Why must advertising be so evil, and yet sometimes so amusing?

I really really hate that commercial.

And what's with all those "these are real people" ad style coming out these days?

And when will they learn that a talking animal of any sort (be it chihuaha, gecko, or greyhound) is just damned creepy?

Sorry...I guess I didn't realize I was that adament about it.

Marketing is a tool of the Devil, I believe. Our world is saturated with it, and too many of the people making it are catering to a target audience with the intellect of monkeys.

Yes, but it's quite easy to see how we evolved from them, when you consider 90% of the world's population today. So you have to wonder where the marketing gurus fall.

I used to work in Marketing at a publishing company. Worst two years of my life. Granted, I was on the editing side, but still it was evil- typing in 500/item Excel lists specified by subject matter of places to send review copies. Ugh.

I take that back; there is one funny talking commercial animal.

The Afflac duck. Quacks me up every sigle time.

Ok...I'll stop now, I swear...I don't need the jacket again!

*Sighs with disappointment and hangs the straightjacket back up in the coat closet*

Heh, every time I see that duck I'm reminded of being five, in Lubbock, and getting bitten by a large goose like creature at some pond.
