On the long list of things to remember: drinking coffee and then gin on an empty stomach is not the best thing to do.

But it was perfect in Metro tonight. The Cure and Tool, the rain outside and the pleasant crowding, reading and making notes, ending up with a table of eight. Just the feel, the color of the light and the sound reminded me of so many nights there.

Yes, yes. When you come visit, we will go to Metro. Because it is a hub of the universe, after all.

It is my favorite place ever, and I don't know what I will do when I leave Austin.
