Gene made a Polish dish, saurkraut and mashed potato and kielbasa all together on one plate. It is infinitely warm and comforting, which is exactly what I needed right now. I should promise to never again tease him about the kitchen.

I am full and happy, watching The Ref and playing to my heart's black content.

What is a tsarina? Is that the same thing as a czar,like a czarina?

Exactly. Tsarina is just a different transliteration of Czarina, and means emperess. I use the ts, because I think it is more accurate. But that might be specific to my own paticular Russian lessons.

It started as a joke, and became my nickname a couple years ago during college.

I really enjoy "The Ref." Good movie. Kevin Spacey. Funny. BUT .... I saw a porn version of "The Ref" once in high school. It was most disturbing. I didn't know it was based on "The Ref." I remember commenting a few minutes in, "Hey, this is based on 'The Ref'!" A friend of mine and I wanted to rent porn in order to make fun of it. Really. But there was nothing funny about this. No sir.

Porn mockeries of regular movies are indeed a frightening thing. I've never seen one, really, but I did watch a nearly four hour long vampire porn movie in Czech with Ron Jeremy. Someone bought it at a truck stop in Bohemia, and we had to get the bus driver to help us hook up the VCR, and then one of professors proceeded to get plastered with us and tried to translate lines we didn't understand. Heh. Oh it was bad.
