The machines that power the Vatican's website are named Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. This amuses me for no real reason.
Melynda and I ate at Double Dave's for lunch, because we had a magic coupon for free buffets. The guy behind the counter flirted with us and we ate many pepperoni rolls while discussing the British wizarding education system, the Texas Quidditch team, and the appalling changes happening in American government. She recently had to explain to one of her sister's friends that we couldn't just drop a few nuclear bombs on Afghanistan, because hello, ever heard of fall out you stupid twit? This girl is in college, and she doesn't know why using these weapons would be terrifying for all the world? That's the kind of thing that makes me want to round up all the stupid people and send them into the sun. No wonder things are going to hell in a handbasket.
The sky is watercolor today, blue and white and cold. I don't have sleeves and my arms prickle in the wind. The sunlight is deceptive.

Well, she's not the Vatican, but my computer (Delilah) has three external hard drives named Artemis (all the work gets saved here), Calliope (all my music) and Persephone (currently empty).
Just thought it was interesting. :-)
