long sentence

threeplusfireNever good when you forget what you went to the store for in the first place, or when the guy at the register raises his eyebrows and you feel compelled to defend your purchases by saying somehting lame like "Beginning of the semester junk food rush!" even though you aren't even in school anymore.
But hey, they played my favorite Duran Duran song on the radio, and we've got frozen pizza and goldfish crackers and chewy cookies now. Oh yes, and the toliet paper which I had to run back in for. So it's not so bad today, even though the sky is a bright, painful grey and cold.
Melynda's playing Final Fantasy VII, which has a great intro, and so far I'm enjoying it. I confess I never played any of them after III, and I have a soft spot for II in my heart. Super Nintendo graphics and silliness, but I just loved some of those missions. I always renamed the characters to suit whatever peculiar fancy my head had adopted at the time. Especially the bard, and his lover who dies, and there's sad harp music. The summer when I broke up with Michael, I borrowed that game from Kevin's brother and played it constantly for about two months. All day, all night, any time I wasn't working at the newspaper.
Gene apparently can't speak Czech without his Prince Jason accent in class. I am beyond amused. He does get to correct Keith's Russian though.
I want to watch a movie. I want to watch A Perfect Murder though perhaps I should watch something else.

VII is Melynda's favorite, and we also have VIII and the Tactics game. Maybe once she gets around to beating these, we're try the next couple.
