Watching the documentary on Tolkien on the extended disc set. And yeah, I don't have the right words for it. But the parts about how it's all entwined just get to me.

So yeah, I am the dorky sort of girl who will sit up at two in the morning and get teary eyed over the symbolism and the stories and the things all these people say. I wish I could have met this man who started writing in the trenches, who built languages and wrote stories that have caught people up for decades.

I'm truly enamoured of the greek tragedy qualities of LN, but I don't think I need to torture myself over it.

All the tension bleeds itself slowly out, all the fear from the past couple months, and the misunderstandings and self esteem problems, and it's all so self centered. But it will pass, this too will pass.

Oh yes! Absolutely to all your questions. The extended set has two discs, which cover the transition from book to film, and all the way through production. It has fantastic interviews, and the stuff they show is just mind boggling. Definitely, go rent it. Run!
