I could write about how undignified urinating into plastic cups can be, but that really isn't very important. Suffice to say, it is over and I am glad.

Melynda and Gene are both sick, so they're at home today and we're watching more of the extended version's special features. Gene's on the phone trying to fix his work server from home. I'm trying to learn to type with the heavy weight of the ring on my finger and wishing I worked on movie sets.

The sketches for Rivendell are awesome. I could live there. I really had no idea New Zealand was such a lovely part of the world.

There are a great many ways you could work on a movie set- particularly on an entry-level PA position- should you really want to. Case in point, I worked as a PA on Todd Haynes' first feature, Poison, because they struck a deal in order to gain access to our SUNY Purchase soundstage by employing film students as dogsbodies. s

Yeah, and it's not a bad town for it. Very tempting. I love movies and theater but I have no call to act. I just want to put together those details of set and stage that make it just right. I am quite tempted.
