This was the first thing I say when I checked the news this afternoon.
And yes, I'm crying. Not because I knew any of these astronauts personally, but because I think the space program is one of the greatest, most ambitious things we have done as a people. We reach for something so beyond these frail mortal bodies, the most grand plane of this natural world. Space.
