Melynda and I had lunch at Houstons, one of our favorite nice places to eat. The best ceasar salad I've had anywhere, with lots of anchovies. The waitress even offered to bring me extra, which was a deciding factor in leaving her a huge tip. So, ceasar salad with cheese toast, iced tea, a baked potato with everything, and the rarest of filets. It was sweet and red and juicy, one of the best steaks I've had in quite some time. Delightful. Over coffee we decided to rent movies. She picked up one of her favorite sappy romantic comedies, While You Were Sleeping and I grabbed the special edition of Titus. It didn't work though, so I went back. No other copies, so now I'm going to watch Ghost in the Shell when Melynda takes a break from video games.

My last day of relative freedom has passed rather pleasantly, even though I did not sleep well last night.

First American Flood Data. I'll be looking at maps and figuring out what properties fall into flood zones and such like.
