1. What is your favorite type of printed matter to read?
Probably novels, I must say, though I have a love for good magazines like Harpers and Texas Monthly.

2. What is your favorite novel?
Now that is hard. Ultimately, probably Crime & Punishment by Dostoevsky. Though Skvorecky's The Miracle Game, all of Nabokov and Somerset Maugham and Edith Wharton are close behind.

3. Do you have a favorite poem?
Hmm. I don't know.

4. What is the one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
That would be everything.

5. What are you currently reading?
Strong Opinions, essays and interviews and letters by Vladimir Nabokov

I love Edith Wharton. I dare say she is my favorite American author. Ethan Frome is sad and curious, and an excellent story. I hope you enjoy it. I highly recommend The House of Mirth, Roman Fever and Other Stories, and one of her less well known works Twilight Sleep.

Hello Eowyn! ;)
