Fan-fucking-tastic day.

Melynda and I woke up to get our hair cuts. We are now beautiful short haired women, and it was an absolutely lovely day. Gorgeous weather. Lunch at La Madeline, potato gallette and strawberries romanoff, and then to Metro for cards and coffee. Now we're watching Gosford Park.

And I have had so many damn good moments of conversation today.

For the sheer amount of scrumptious stuff in town to eat, it's amazing we all aren't sprawled out groaning from our aching bellies. ;)

The bluebonnets are very beautiful right now.

So i have heard from others too :(

my b. was in texas this weekend and said he didn't get to see any bluebonnets but that his nana had seen some starting at least... she lives in north texas, so maybe that's why. he did take some texas dirt back to kansas with him though!
