The boots arrived in Dallas an hour ago. Hurrah for online tracking.

I'm mildly embarassed that I've found this shirt and I want it. Time to forget I own a David Bowie shirt from Hot Topic that makes me feel like some goofy teenage girl.

I had a conversation with Gene for the first time in almost a week. Life is weird that way.

I realized how strangely easy to love people, and find it oddly amusing that the one so close to me is much more difficult to gauge in terms of what we both want, while the one so far away is so much simpler. And that is just strange, but so it goes.

Took a shower, and now I smell of cloves and oranges and my hair is wet, and it is simply good.

my mum bought a davie bowie shirt, -smiles a little- I remember I hated him so much as I was growing up she eventually stoped playing his music when I was around. Sometimes I miss her.

My mother still has her shirts for Heart and Fleetwood Mac somewhere I think. I grew up listening to all my parents records. But I didn't get to like David Bowie until I was about fifteen, and from there it was love.

I don't know what it was about him that I didnt like. I never really listend to music until I was 16, and even know I have a hard time following it. I suppose lack of exposure is crippling. I realy have to focus on the words otherwise I really just dont hear anything.
