threeplusfireI have been up since Wednesday. I slept for two hours in the middle of Thursday afternoon. And I am now quietly going insane.
Veering between moods. First a quiet, bubbly joy from my interactions with British Boy. We have such good conversations, everything from the utterly serious to stuffed Cthulhu and random geekness. It's so good. He hugged me, and even in my boots, I fit underneath his arms. I like this. It's fun.
My Two Towers poster is now hanging up in the living room. I ended up getting the one with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. The living room looks cooler already. Now if I could just clean. I might do that, since it's after four and I'm still not asleep. I should also probably listen to Reive and just lay down and close my eyes. Someone come stick me with pins, quick.
I am peeved about the current state of affairs in wizardom, though I did read a bloody lovely story this morning. But having my character bloody miserable is not my idea of fun. Angst and tragedy are all well and good in terms of character development and plot advances, but there are times when I want to chuck the whole thing over and send my wizard off to be happy and warm in Greece.
But all things pass. And I should call Rachel, because she loves to hear the wizard stories.
I'm going to run around the building and hopefully that will make me tired enough to sleep.
