Labyrinth is where I started falling in love with the bad guys in stories.

"Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave."

A strange day. But I'm almost free.

Who could blame you? The Labyrinth Bowie is deliciously seductive.

Even with those weird, weird pants.
I tried to hard to give my sister away to the goblins. Bowie, why have you forsaken me? Alas!

I never thought about it like that...

...but the same may be true for me.

I still dream about Jareth.

Yeah. I look back at all kinds of random movies, and wonder why my young brain was drawn to those characters.

Ever see that bad movie Warlock? I had serious lust for Julian Sands as the evil wizard in that. Christ. I just realized my obsession with evil blonde wizards goes much further back than I imagined.... *sigh*

Julian Sands was such a hottie.
He was the atypical goth girl crush of choice when I was a kid.

And I blame all my relationship problems on movies I loved too young -- Star Wars topping the list.

"I love you."
"I know."

And you wonder why I spent so long dating assholes.

I feel the sudden urge to go rent lots of Julian Sands movies. Heh. Oh dear.

Damn you Han Solo!
I'm leaving work early. I don't care. I'm bored, and I want to be home. We can stick wizards with pins.

There's also some reading material waiting for you.

Saw Warlock - I get the appeal - though ya know, it's more an attitude thing for me.

And no, I absolutely do NOT understand it.

Oh yes. I remember watching the original one as a kid, and then the remake with Sands and Hugh Grant as a teenager. Ahh, composers in pretty coats.
