A busy, busy morning. Waking up was painful, due to the brightness of the sun coming in the windows. I knew there was a reason I covered that thing with a blanket last year.

We're baking a quiche florentine right now, and watching Go because Melynda is appalled that I've never seen it. Pulp Fiction on X? Looks interesting so far.

Spent $150 on getting my car all oiled and filtered and such like. The guys at the Jiffy Lube were quite nice, which is a good thing. They were impressed with the excellent condition of my car. Car runs beautifully now.

Visited my mother briefly. She's replacing the back fence, making blankets and doing the usual.

It's a damn lovely day out there. Going to be even better once I eat.

The scene in "Go" in which the kids are sitting around in the van psyching themselves into getting high off the bunk drugs is one of the most mortifyingly funny things I've ever seen.

That is really so funny, and reminds me of some of the more obnoxious people I've known in my life. Hah!

Go is just amazing. Caught it back in 99 or so, when it was in the theater. Asprin for X, tantric follies, all loads of good fun!

I'm so surprised, I wonder why I never saw this before. It's quite funny, and I spent a lot of time jumping off the couch and shouting "Are you insane? Bad, bad idea!" at the screen. It just cracked me up.
