beautiful day
Mar. 7th, 2001 10:02 pmIt was cloudy this morning, but by the time I left Czech class, it was gorgeous. Sunny and light, cool air. Good weather to walk around outside. I sat outside Calhoun and watched the people on the South Mall.
Spent a long time talking to Professor L. this afternoon. (He's the man in my LJ picture right now. I like to use that photo as a private joke for my best friends, and cause I've never felt like resizing a picture of myself to put onto here. Besides, he's pretty nice to look at. Hah.) He's leaving for San Francisco in a few hours, lucky man. I wish I had a Spring Break vacation so I could skip two days of classes. He was helpful though, spent time talking things out with me. Perhaps it helps to think if it can be verbalized. I felt much better when I walked out, things are clearer in my head. He did spend time teasing me. I can't get away without it. I really like the man.
Karen and I are thinking about having another dinner party. She wants an excuse to invite her Differential Equations professor. Hah. I think we should invite all our crazy professor friends. We'd have a room full of math and language professors! It would be great! I think I'll invite some of the grad students I know. Students like to eat. We must think of a good main course. I will bake bread of course. Last time we made roast, but I think this time it should be even more exciting. Hmmm. Must think.

Date: 2001-03-08 07:06 am (UTC)Professor L. is an interesting looking person. He's half black and half german, and about 6"6. Enormous man with green eyes.
