So I'm working on a wedding registry on Amazon, just for the hell of it. As in, how many chrome appliances can I find along with dvds and rpg stuff. I'm still wondering if I can convince people to stock our liquor cabinet, just because I think that might be funny. Sure, there's going to be a sober registry for the family somewhere that askes for dishes and stuff. But I was thinking, and the things we would really like are books and bar equipment. Plus, I want a pie serving utensil! As my mother has hijacked my bread machine, I need a new one anyhow. Too bad it doesn't come in chrome.

i got a chrome blender for my wedding and a chrome toaster at my shower. the kitchen aid mixer is RED :) if you want a mixer- you should totally go for it...though you are the pie lady - so perhaps you need a food processor instead? (it makes crusts a dream and has the added utility of being able to quickly whip up salsa , or homemade mayonaise-- that's culinary magic if you ask me!!! :)

i got an AMAZING emile henry pie dish that is beautiful and functional. you definately need a pie server! :) i also recommend good spatulas. a good spatula is highly underrated. how do i know this- i have very nice ones now! and nowadays all the good brands come in trendy pretty rainbow colors-- woohoo! you can certainly ask for bar equiptment too. we got margarita glasses with our blender. we also got a decanter/wine glass set. and i got a shaker at my shower-- very fun! one of our graduate school friends got us this nifty wine/picnic backpack and put sparkling grape juice in for dan and some nice chardonay for me-- so you might get it even if you don't ask! we also received william sonoma's bar guide.

are you going to do any of the department store stuff like china/crystal? i did that, but mainly only my parents and very close family friends bought it. you also really like bed linens and stuff ? right? you can put that in registries, though that's the stuff noone bought us at all (towels, sheets).
