That is more often true of me than not. It's strange how we change, and how hard it is to keep up. I've been thinking about that a lot today. How to learn to speak and listen again, how to understand another person, how to keep up with the change in me and in someone else.
I wrote a letter and mailed it this afternoon. Drove my car around the neighborhood, since I haven't tried to use it since Sunday. I had one of those awful moments, and I forgot which side of the road I was supposed to drive on. Didn't last long. One day I want to live in a nice big city with a subway, or at least a good tram system.
