It occured to me in the shower that I'm very excited about showing Rach where I live, Metro, Amy's Ice Cream, the gigantic Texas museum and our University's clock tower and such. Austin is not so much like New York but I want her to have genuine TexMex goodness and Magnolia Cafe at 3am.

Alan's making vegetable soup & pasta out of odds and ends in our kitchen. There's fish sauce and portabello involved, so I'm game.

D&D is Friday night, so I can sleep before the dress altering doom tomorrow.

Metro...ooo, does Rach play cards?

My mum confiscated my dress to hem it for me. She laughed when I put on the boots to pin the hem. I'll have it back Thanksgiving at the latest. :)

I think she plays pretty well. But she doesn't smoke or drink caffiene, so the allure of Metro may not overcome her. ;)
