threeplusfireI am really an idiot. I should have noticed that paticular entry was locked down like it should have been. Lalalalalala, my brain was melted by the creme de menthe apparently. Or perhaps I just shouldn't try to smoke, talk on the phone, make breakfast and type a very personal post all at once. Ouch. Not that I think any of the people in question could possibly find this, or that I really care what someone thinks about my opinion of the situation. But ultimately it isn't my story to tell the world, so it lives on under lock and key.
My mom's boss Carl is in the middle of an unpleasant divorce fight. Cathy and Carl went to Chicago because her sister was dying last week, and while they were gone Cathy's new foal injured himself and had to be put down. Their sixteen year-old son Eric also threw a party which resulted in a traffic accident in the driveway, and a drunk moron jumping into the hot tub and breaking his foot. The moron's parents are talking about suing Carl now. To add insult to injury someone mailed photos of the party to Carl, including one of a row of topless girls in front of the hot tub.
At work, the madness continues. I swear I've heard more stories of misery in the past 24 hours than in the past couple months. Jackie's father is back in the hospital with a blood clot and internal bleeding, and Jason's cancelled D&D because he's in a self loathing snit. Crikey. The only one I can really do anything about is Jason because he needs a talking to, that boy. Whether it will do any good or not, I don't know.
Honestly all I really want to do is go home and bask in the lamp light, curl up with my fiance and be warm.
