I would say Spider's even more mad than Hunter. He's Hunter on the drugs of the future, and with a bowel disruptor gun.

To be sure- and they share a sense of moral outrage in their work (especially in Thompson's writings on Nixon)- a refusal to allow things to not be all they can be, without railing at the injustice of it all.
