This image came in my alumni email the other day, and it's funny to realize how attached you are to something you see almost every day. The sky, the buildings, the sunset. While there are so many parts of the world I'm going to see, this will always be home.

It took me several minutes to figure out what water was reflecting the sky from that angle.

I picked up the phrase sky blue pink from a NY Times magazine article last week, where the author attributed it to her brother. It was the color of the sky at sunset when the clouds reflected the light, he said. I'm not sure why it struck me, but it seemed especially fitting for that sky.
