UT trounced A&M 46-15 yesterday, and there was rejoicing. Well, Alan did not really rejoice but then his team had given him false hopes. We made it to work with a minute to spare and ended up only working four hours. I don't know why the manager said we should expect to stay til midnight. There was no work, and no one wanted to be there. Samantha herded us out as soon as possible. We didn't mind so much.

Went to the grocery store to pick up things to cook our little turkey with, and to make super chocolate cookies. We're making an absurd amount of food for just the two of us, but there will be leftovers to make eating during the week easier. I will see Micah on Thursday and I promised him some cookie.

Stopped in Blockbuster, and they had the new Castlevania game! I rented it for a whole month so I can play to my heart's content. Rented Enemy at the Gates and X-men 2, which I have not seen.

Our new three exclamations are:
"But the rum?"
"But what are the lesbians for?"
"But what are the Russians for?"
Those cover just about all inappropriate situations and weirdness.

So it's a weekend of cooking and staying home. I have no desire to try and shop in the madness, and I'm only buying a couple of Christmas presents this year. Most of that, I can order online.

Target may be worth a trip

I "braved" the crowds yesterday at 3ish, and it was pretty quiet at Target. There were cashiers waiting for customers. There having a two day sale (yesterday and today) that I thought was worth the trip.
For $10 I replaced my camping chair that was stolen, with a better one (foot rest). I also stocked up on Blue Santa presents- $4 games, $2 Barbies, and 49 cent Hot Wheels!

I should be so fortunate. I bought several things for my niece who is three today, and I want to give them to her NOW! Her first Viewmaster, Hi,Ho,Cherry-O game(my fave game as a kid), and a Skipper doll.

She's definitely getting the "Don't Break the Ice" game today, 'cause her Aunt Snax wants to play.

Make sure you call to cancel your game pass if you don't want to keep it. As it will autocharge your account after 30 days.
